No, nothing will happen chaos related. All that is going to happen is that 64% of the fan-base(who are surprisingly shippers and watch the show only because of their representative shipping) will give up watching Pokémon and the rating's will stoop even lower than they were -_-

Romance shouldn't be the main subject in the series, but should be something aside from the actual purpose: Ash's journey and becoming a Pokémon Master. Romance would add a great value to the journey, he?
I wonder if he'll actually ever reach his goal. The show has been running for quite a while now, I was there from the start.

Correction, Pokémon is about romance too. It has a pleasant quantity of romance in it and I think that without this Genre, this anime would've been a complete flop XD
