Definitely. Misty had so many appearances. Not only Special Episodes, but also Theme Songs, and she travelled for two regions. I've seen her enough and I'm not a fan of her. I would say that May definitely deserves a Special Episode. I don't know about Max. I haven't payed much attention to him, since I didn't find his character that much interesting. Maybe they should just make a Special Episode with the sibling, but focused on May, hehe.

I think that Misty still holds a special place in our hearts(and fan-fictions, she is the best bully-turn-nice character there is XD) so I guess it's okay to have some specials dedicated to her travels :3

I think the Pokémon producers have sort of scrapped Misty as a character in the anime, her character wasn't TOO significant and didn't really have much development in my opinion.

If they do that. They throw Pokémon away. It's impossible to 'just' throw her away. She has been the best developed female character and companion, with May behind her.
