Same here. Before Amourshipping broke out, I used to really hate advanceshipping since I am a hardcore Contest/Pearlshipper. Now I don't really mind it since it will never threaten Pearl.

I never found Advanceshipping as a threat, but I still hated it cause I couldn't imagine Ash and May together. Now I don't care cause it's almost dead like Pokeshipping.

The advance shippers aren't much of a threat anymore...
I actually found the actuall reason for why amourshipping was made! @__@
I'll create a few more threads to tell you why(with supportive reasoning with it of course).

Because Iris and Ash had literally no romance and the ratings were super low so they thought ramping up the "romance" would raise ratings. Also, Amour only looks so shippy because it followed on from Negai.
