Ruby does have a point.
Misty was ignored pretty much after her appearance in Advanced Generation, and May hasn't really had a mention since her appearance in DP.
Dawn is next on the list, but one can always hope she'll be the exception!

I think that Iris won't return in Kalos due to her travelling in Kanto. I mean, if she is committed to journey through Kanto than what reason does she have to go to Kalos? O,o
