Amour died much earlier than Poke did which is quite astonishing really. Just goes to show that having a crush and standing to the side blushing doesn't do anything to help. There are still Pokeshippers (surprisingly) but I think the amount has definitely lowered after the years and maybe after the release of XY too.
We can leave them to their own little worlds as we live in reality...

I've still seen PokeShippers, but I don't know how many more there were before DP ended because I wasn't in the fandom back then. I think that now, GymShipping has a higher chance than PokeShipping. Well, finally us GymShippers can say our ship hasn't sank! I can imagine that in Kanto, Brock & Misty have spent time together and maybe somewhere during Unova they started dating? I don't know, just a headcanon. But yeah, I'd say that Amour and Pearl have the highest chances of coming back, though Negai might have a chance if Iris comes back. That's likely because Misty visited in Hoenn, May visited in Sinnoh, and Dawn visited in Unova, so that cycle might keep going.

Iris might come back I don't think anything will happen with Negai. There were never really many hints and you never know, cycles can break and maybe the Pokémon writers might come up with a surprise in store.
But on topic, Pokeshipping has died but the fans that support it will refuse to accept defeat like this.

Well, those who do accept it either multiship or ship Poke because it is close to their heart (and childhood) regardless. There's nothing wrong with that. |
