According to at least two leaks: One is that Sinnoh starters, only the first unevolved forms get Gigantamax forms. Another leak is that Pochama gets a new Gigantamax form. If it is true, then itâs likely that Hikari would return to promote Pochama. Or most likely, they will keep milking from Pochama while avoiding any screentime for Hikari. You only need to give it to some new trainer, or even old one. Considering how it was presented as Barry's Pokémon in Pokémon Master, and in the movie I Choose You it appears with a random irrelevant girl, they might as well keep on doing that. |

Uh-huh. You may think separately about Pochama, but please look at its temper and link it with Gureggru. I haven't seen any Pochama with such temper and acquaintance with Gureggru except Hikari's.

Actually the presence of Guregguru makes it very awkward to reason for an appearance of Hikari since if this is Takeshi's Guregguru then that means they have to bring Takeshi to Sinnoh too which is very awkward considering there are only two protagonists. The only way I see this happens is if this is not that Guregguru but some random one or if Takeshi appears early on in Kanto, goes with Satoshi and disappears after some episodes. I would have more hope if there is no Guregguru actually.

As awkward as was Hikari's return in BW2? There were 4! protagonists at that moment. As awkward as Takeshi's and Kasumi's return in SM? There were 8 protagonists at that moment. |

It's strange, but just evolved Pikachu made moves that reminded me of Satoshi and Hikari.
Satoshi was moving like on the first picture after he knew that his 6th gym badge match is ready. (DP 106)
Hikari moved around herself like on the second picture during her videophone talk with her mother in front of Satoshi and Takeshi at her first contest. (DP 011) Please note that Pikachu was dancing that time in the same style and simultaneously with her.
Furthermore, Hikari was dancing like that when she put on the dress of a princess. |
