Yes. The same Caterpie defeated by Pidgeotto... KICKED ASS against a snake that could eat bugs (hence, could), a virus-shaped balloon, and a Meowth. Ash's focus was distracted by Misty's bullying on Caterpie. He could have sent Pikachu earlier, if they didn't have that difficult communication from the 1st episode. Thus he thinks his starter won't comply to battling Pidgeotto, his only best option was chance it by chucking a ball at it.
Personally, I think Caterpie stands a chance at Pidgeotto. Tying it up with String Shot and either Tackle it or either switch to Pika OR chance a Pokeball. This isn't the animal kingdom we know of here. This is the world of Pokémon. Where predator and prey doesn't always apply. The prey could become the predator instead. Besides, Misty, as I see as a competent trainer herself from the beginning, summoned a Goldeen where there's very little mobility for it to do anything. That was... huh?
Well... episode 3 kind of gotten close, if you think about it. Good thing that got interrupted from Team Rocket, because I did want to see how this will go.
2. allright i take the atention whore comment back. but still it doesn't fit in there personality's to do something like that, may is to shy, misty is to much of a tsundere and iris is to much of a tomboy/brat. and well serena has just seen one battle which was the time she first met ash.
Main difference of Dawn from the other main group girls is she has a lot of energy and is the most active. Sure, she doesn't need to dress as cheerleader, but she wants to. She wants to provide as much support as she can, and her efforts of cheering and her many different clothing designs for both humans and Pokémon were shown. I don't mind the others not doing that (though Iris and Cilan did dress up for Ash's last gym battle), but I do appreciate the effort they provide.5. indeed a song about friendship not about romantic love.

9. just because you have bratty argumentswith someone doesn't mean you can't like each other. some of my best friend have that kind of releationship. and besides a lot of people(especially children) fight simply to hide there feelings. plus dawn wasn't really a underdog to her mother she more inspired her. i mean gary and misty's sisters always put the two of them down and they wanted to prove them wrong. plus misty might not have been in that many contest but there wern't that many competitions for her. but she was in a few like the princess vs princess, a baloon rae, a beautycontest, some racing competitions, and a fishing contest. futher she showed rivally with people like egan, andreas, ash and marina.
Very true. However, I don't remember seeing Misty any more supportive than just commenting and observing. Couldn't she help Ash level up at least like how Brock helped him? It can't be just shown arguing for some episodes. How about some assistance, like that Ponyta episode? She was good there.

1. he kind of had, he still lost to togepi wich is atleast for a part because he knew that misty wouldn't like it if togepi got hurt andd for togepi on its own. it never took care more about any other Pokémon ten misty's. plus pikachu was still crazy about misty and listend to her orders without any doubt.
Pikachu also thought Togepi didn't have any battling experience and it didn't feel right to punk a baby like that. Pika served as the big brother for Togepi, so that lessened his spirit there.
Uh... I guess? Other than that Princess Festival episode, which other times did Misty used Pika?
2. misty tried to help ash multiple time especially with the battle against brock but ash wanted to do it allone so she decided to let ash do what he would think its best but allway went allong with im. and besides misty didn't have any prve that richie called so officer jenny wouldn't be able to do a thing. well giselle was a *female dog* the whole time but only after she beated misty and comented on it ash got angry at her.
I have to be on Ash's side on this one. You want to prove you can succeed in your goals by your own hands. We want to see how he will work through his struggles. I understand Misty wanted to see the winning result of things by offering her own Pokémon to him, but doesn't that provide him the handicap? These suggestions won't really prove your own worth if you're unable to use what you have in your hands. Heck, if he did accepted the offer from Misty, I would see him constantly asking or begging for help from someone who carries any kind of advantage. So yeah. Ash's perserverence is one trait I admire from him. I wish the series followed that, but the result is pretty much shown what it has shown.
No. It's not reporting who's responsible for Ash's disappearance. The reason I suggested Officer Jenny is to search for Ash, see if anyone has any whereabouts on him.
Not just by Misty's defeat. Giselle was "lecturing" Joe as well. Knowing that Ash cares for people in general, it's natural for him to be on the defense.

10. maybe it wasn't in the movie but it defenitly showed that it was in character for misty to almost jump of a cliff to safe ash. and in the tower of teror the distance between brock and misty was around the same size as the one of misty and ash. maybe even les since brock has longer hands.
We don't know for sure if she'll actually do that. She can just be moving closer to the edge of the cliff.

Anyone's guess on what that could transpire.An other few hints are that ash compliments misty when she dresses up and that they always fall asleep next to each other somethimes leaning on eachother, while ash is always way futher away from them.
