Amsiulx Let's assume then that the 'kiss' wasn't on the lips. Why is it censored if it was a cheek/forehead kiss? I think it would've been better if she lost balance, tripped and fell down XD

It was not shown to have people still discussing it, it was not censored. It was intentionally done to keep people interested after the fact.

DawnForever101 I think so too, but I don't think it was on the lips, at the very least, otherwise Ash reaction should've been VERY different and if it was on the lips, then, that's worse for Amour since Ash didn't even blush xD Pikachu, Clemont and Bonnie were about two meters away from Ash, so they had no idea what really happened. The whole 'censored' part was just to get people talking about it and making people mislead themselves for the 13423423th time again. Whether she did kiss him or not makes little difference. Knowing her character, she isn't that bold, but rather I believe their faces were close to each other but Serena stopped short of kissing Ash, whether she chose to or had the wrong timing. She basically stumbled, Maybe Ash and Serena grabbed onto each others' arms or hands just so Serena wouldn't completely lose her balance and fall. That's also why Serena put her arms behind her back as soon as the escalator started moving again. If she was confident in kissing him, she wouldn't have felt embarrassed and yet feeling satisfied. I think what she did was pull some kind of prank or practical joke on Ash, like how Dawn did at the beginning of her cameo except without the romance angle. But as long as they are still hiding the summary and titles Nov 10th episode, I believe they are still trolling everyone. They want people to think: Serena is leaving, Amour is canon (regardless of the kiss or not, Amour is still one-sided canon from Serena's side), Serena kissed Ash, Serena will fulfill being a coordinator in Hoenn But what is more likely to happen: Serena is going to Alola with Dawn from Hoenn, Amour is still one-sided canon, Serena did not kiss Ash due to a variety of reasons and Serena arrived in Hoenn too late for the contests.

Seriously I do like Serena's character design and the parts of her not 100% dedicated to Ash.
Hell, I can sympathize considering they are all 10, and it makes sense the way she is acting for someone in Love at 10.
If Dawn and Serena return in Sun and Moon, I will be a very happy man.

Serena's short haircut complements her fluffy, unkempt hair. I mean clearly she doesn't pay much attention to her hair as much as Dawn does, maybe except in the first XY movie where we finally see Serena with straightened hair. Compared to Dawn, who is just at times obsessed with straightening her hair and having all those hairstyles for her contests. Makes me think whether the staff really wanted Serena and Dawn in a future series together, with all their contrasts, similiarities and parallels.

Yea there are surprisingly a lot of parallels despite being very similar.
One is incredibly focused and dense, while the other does not have as much drive and is incredibly shy.
Seriously I might cry if Dawn and Serena return. I have began to rewatch XY without any bias, and I like it! Just like I used to

The "You're my goal" is not a big deal. I agree with satohika that the phrase means to become like him since he's been a role model, an admirable character to her. The best example I can think of is Naruto's clash with Sasuke at the five kage summit. Naruto admits to Sauke that when they're were young, Naruto admired and was jealous of him at the same time, Naruto's reasoning for their rivalry: "You were my goal."* *May or may not be exact wording...*

As for the 'kiss' scene, why did Serena have to thank Ash? I mean if she really did kiss Ash, would she be saying 'thank you', unless if she stumbled and was almost about to fall till Ash helped her out. She also felt embarrassed at the end, so she must have screwed up something. Yea there are surprisingly a lot of parallels despite being very similar. One is incredibly focused and dense, while the other does not have as much drive and is incredibly shy. Seriously I might cry if Dawn and Serena return. I have began to rewatch XY without any bias, and I like it! Just like I used to I'd find that out of all the main female cast members, Dawn and Serena would relate to each other the most, aside from Ash. In order to develop a stronger bond with Ash, Serena needs to establish a bond with Dawn because she pretty much is a female Ash. Dawn can become romantically aware of her own feelings for Ash by observing Serena and how much she loves Ash. It's very likely that while Dawn can become an Amourshipper, Serena is just as likely to become a Pearlshipper. Considering how much she admires Ash and wants to be like Ash, when she knows how Ash sees Dawn, she can see why Ash admires and likes Dawn so much.

Considering Serena's canon feelings, I do not think it is possible that Serena would ship something that involves her crush. However, Dawn might react in that way and she could ship it. And that thought is kinda scary.

It's very likely that while Dawn can become an Amourshipper, Serena is just as likely to become a Pearlshipper. Considering how much she admires Ash and wants to be like Ash, when she knows how Ash sees Dawn, she can see why Ash admires and likes Dawn so much. After considering this, this thought scares me. Considering Serena's canon feelings, I do not think it is possible that Serena would ship something that involves her crush. However, Dawn might react in that way and she could ship it. And that thought is kinda scary. I'm sure the staff would have a balance between the two, almost like a coexistence between the two, given the 'you create your own reality' thing the game staff has been promoting. So they want the fans to decide Ash's endgame, he could end up with Dawn, he could end up with Serena, or he could just have both. I mean Serena hasn't fully understood Ash very much when they were in Kalos, Ash's true self emerges when he is with Dawn. Yes, Ash may be Serena's crush, she could get jealous of the strong bond between Ash and Dawn at first, but once she is acquainted with Dawn and Ash's true self when around Dawn, Serena sees that Ash is ecstatic and overjoyed whenever he's with Dawn, so she wants Ash to be happy and have a smile on his face. But that doesn't mean Serena is conceding defeat to Dawn, because Serena witnessing Dawn and Pearlshipping could spark her resolve to become better than Dawn, as if she were her strongest rival. Serena may not be a Pearlshipper, but she can see Pearlshipping in the same sense as those other guys, Conway and Kenny who tried to win over Dawn's affections only for Dawn to choose Ash over them. Since she really wanted to go to Kanto with Ash and travel with Ash. Dawn has strong feelings for Ash, but she is romantically dense. Only someone like Serena can break Dawn's denseness. If it were someone like Miette, Serena would crush the opposition in terms of winning over Ash's attention. Dawn is the main exception because in Serena's mind because of her strong bond with Ash, she is a huge threat but also someone she can emulate that whatever Dawn does to make Ash think highly of Dawn would make Ash respect and view Serena as someone important to him like Dawn is. In Serena's mind, Ash is trying to distance himself away from everyone in Kalos. The song Candy Girl explains Serena's love for Ash and wants him to open up his true thoughts and feelings for her. She feels as though Ash is hiding something from everyone while they were in Kalos, especially Serena. Compared to Dawn, Ash treats Serena with a greater degree of distance. That's why Ash and Serena never fight because they're so distant from one another in some way. In BW, Ash's declining judgment and decision making can be linked to how much he missed Dawn. In Kalos, Serena was trying to fill in the void that Dawn had left. But she couldn't form a tight bond with Ash. Serena couldn't help Ash when he needed help the most just as Ash couldn't help Serena when she needed help the most.
