Don't forget as one of our pearlshipping videos said, the best love stories never have a happy ending, and I agree! Ash and Dawn leaving honestly had me choked up but I haven't been able to cry for a while (no reason why) and it still does but the songs and other videos as well as references are bringing me back to life for pearlshipping, but I may not understand as much as the rest of you, I'm pretty sure most of you are older than me and you definitely use words I don't understand yet!

Hmm. Is it possible to see this news article you mentioned? Words are fine, but evidences are needed to reinforce points.
Anyway, the Sinnou League gave us 1 of the best ending leagues. Ash was the only one who was able to beat Darkrai and Latios, while the final battle of the League delivered the same conclusion as the other Darkrai battles (honestly, how is it possible that the final league battle was not any better than the semi-final league? He must suck so hard if he couldn't do better than Ash). I imagine Takuto/Tobias having these 4 others: Zapdos, Raikou, Registeel, and Azelf.

Well I can't find it but it is said that in the Japanese version on the beach ash kissed dawn or vise versa, either way my story or not it has been proven that ash and dawn were originally going to kiss and if proof is needed I think the songs about eachother should be more than enough, but still it remains they removed the kiss that was proven to happen.

See if you can pinpoint it through your History section of your internet browser (unless it happened much longer than what History can keep temporarily). That way we all have proof of our support.
Yeah, Tobias seemed to be an afterthought from the writers, but compared to BW's Ridley and Cameron, I liked him. He's the final doorstep to Ash's victory, and I'd argue he could have been able to beat him with the right Pokémon equipped. Heck, the final challenger seem to be a doormat compared to Tobias.

I'll check my history, and yeah I feel if ash had made it to the finals they possibly may have done something with ash and dawn, but ash did need better Pokémon as I noticed he was just full of power houses (with the semi-exception of exception because sceptile is pretty much all speed). Ash and dawn will live on forever though

I honestly thought Ash could have made it through until the finals. Who knows, if Tobias didn't exist maybe there was a chance Ash could have made top 2.

Well Ash probably could have won it all if it wasn't for Tobias but nope!
Ash could have used Charizard instead of Torkoal but nope!
He could have used Staraptor instead of Swellow (I'm assuming the former is stronger than the latter) but nope!
The writers could have brought back Primeape and gave him Imsomnia to counter Darkrai (actually someone wrote this in a fanfic of a rematch) but nope!
They could have only have Tobias have only one legendary instead of pretty much all of them but nope!
