Just think what it would be like if Misty appeared in DP and met Dawn. Pokeshippers would attack Dawn and say Ash and Misty interact more or vice versa.
I was actually pretty happy Misty didn't appear in DP at all. When it first started I thought she was going to appear because of the lure scene in the episode Buizel was captured, but it never happened.

Well, as you stated, Misty's lure was there, so... yeah, I think even that happening would have sparked the Pearl VS Gaki (Poke) thing regardless of her actual appearance. I am a bit curious on how they'll handle it in the series though. Ah yes. Welcome to the Pearl Vault, precita. |

It would have been interesting to see the differences between their interactions. And who knows? Maybe Misty would have eventually become a pearlshipper. I'm sure she wouldn't have shown it and it's not that realistic, but it's still a fascinating thought.

I really wanted misty to have a cameo appearance. Who knows maybe Misty and Dawn might be bffs? or she might be a pearlshipper like lyra? Now im hoping she has a cameo in x and y.
