Hehe, well said Sakura! With Pokeshipping gone, focus our minds on Orange instead. I agree with Miester though, I do prefer Orangeshipping but hey Misty's out of the way so I'm happy.

In one of the episodes of the Chronicles, the narrator states "Love is in the air. No, it's not between Misty and Tracey".
The dub actually tried to shoot down Orangeshipping in order to favor pokeshipping.

How dare they...?! The nerve. Allow me to rephrase that, "Love is in the air. No, it's not between anyone here." That's the downfall in the dubbed. They edit out so much from the original to the point that it beings to lose its story. I think I'll stick to subtitles... Or, maybe they're being sarcastic, and trying to drop a hint. As in, no it's not between Misty and Tracey. Pointing out the obvious sort of. Am I even making sense?  Well, they have no reason to put down Orange in the first place. This is just a possibility, but maybe they thought that there wouldn't be any further Pokémon anime thingy... therefore aiming to make Pokeshipping canon. Explain how so many Pokeshippers ended up in the west, watching the dub and all. I bet not even half of the hints were in the original anyway. |
