You're using the ambiguous point of puberty to avoid Nova's point on Harley which you conveniently haven't answered, "Jackie". So, why didn't she act the same way around Harley?

You're using the ambiguous point of puberty to avoid Nova's point on Harley which you conveniently haven't answered, "Jackie". So, why didn't she act the same way around Harley? That's because Harley endlessly mocked and hated her. You wouldn't act like that around someone who treated you like you were inferior. Harley even crossed dressed as her for gods sake! NovaStorm: her 'blush' could possibly be embarrassment or discomfort; not really feeling the best around Drew going back to my question, if May really liked Drew, Why didn't she just travel with him instead during the 'Advanced' series? He could've taught her so much more then about contests

Because she was the main female protagonist in the AG series and that's how the writers arranged it. She was obligated to travel with Ash.

What you argued about Harley contradicts the point trying to be made with the puberty.
Non-Puberty: No random 'horomone' fluctuations. Control over 'horomones' around Harley and knows she doesn't like him
Puberty: Random 'horomone' fluctuations. This means that she cannot control her horomones with people in general so people such as Harley (not just him) May would 'react' to.
That's the problem. Either she is horomonal and reacts with both Harley and Drew or she's controlled and doesn't like Harley. You can't say May doesn't like Harley without denying the 'random horomone fluctuations' of puberty, which one is it? It's correct that May is 'repelled' from Harley because of his mockery and you just can't have both hating Harley and emotional puberty together.
Even if it's a little embarassment or unsure feeling, it doesn't change the fact that it was because of Drew specifically, not because of some random horomones. She may be in puberty physically, but May is controlled emotionally.

I'm about two years late to comment on this but earlier in the thread somebody pointed out that the difference between the Ash/Gary relationship and the May/Drew relationship was gender. While it's kinda pointless now and we moved on from the topic I would like to point out that before AdvanceShipping was a thing, the biggest rivalry in Pokémon shipping was between PokéShipping and PalletShipping. There's even a well documented timeline of the conflict on Bulbapedia.
Just thought I would share this amusing piece of information. XD

I just dislike Shuu, I couldn't bring myself to like Contestshipping. While AG was still on air, never really liked the guy or saw him with Haruka as ideal. I'd also admit I still have some Advancer tendencies.

And all of this is related to Pearlshipping. XD Yes, because we are saying why May will end up with Drew instead of Ash.
