shiny.pikachu is an advanceshipper But this board is pokeshipping vs pearl. How Misty would react to Ash and Dawn's high fives? I guess Misty wouldn't care and not see a threat should she still have interest in Ash. But the High Touch song tho. How would Misty react to THAT? Unless she lost interest in Ash, Misty would definitely see something going on between the two. The High Touch song is a force to be reckoned with, much more than the high fives themselves. (The high fives are a reason for the song tho)

I think misty and ash are best friends just like ash and Brock.to be honest I ship ash and misty sometimes but don't worry I'll always be a pearlshipper.you guys are like my family and I would never turn my back on my family.

I think misty and ash are best friends... Oh yeah? you always hit your best friend with a mallet, right? And you always disrespect your best friend's trainer skills. You try to discourage your best friend from challenging the vermelion city gym. You also say to your best friend that beating a Pidgeot with a Charizard is unfair. You relax in a hot spring without worrying about your best friend when he is stuck in an ice cave and is freezing. That's some great friendship right there. You know why I like Pearlshipping? Because unlike Ash and Misty's "friendship", Ash and Dawn's friendship feels more real than Ash and Misty's "friendship" ever did. |

Most of the Kanto saga is filled with Misty's mallet scenes. Whenever she gets angry, she always takes it out on Ash and Brock. It's a fact. "Unique", as in violent, rude and bad tempered. That's a rare sight in the Kanto saga. Most of the time she spends making smartass comments, yelling at people, being bossy and forceful. Yup, during the Johto saga the writers finally realized how rude Misty is and toned her temper down. She no longer hits people with mallet yet still yells at people. Of course she'd get along with people who admire her. I think Misty's flaws are bigger than the rest of Ash's female travelings companions. Yet she gets away for being the first girl. Fair enough. My OTP is Pearlshipping, but I also like other Ash ships except pokeshipping. |

Ash is friends with all companions regardless of if it is 'real' friendship or not. It's just a matter of who's the closest of the friends to Ash, and that would be Dawn.
Even with Misty's harshness and 'mean friendship', Misty and Ash are still considered friends, just as it is with May, Serena, Brock, or anyone else.
