Yea it really does seem that way, and the dub still seems to want to push for pokeshipping by getting rid of the competition (even though 4kidz is gone) like with the added pegwinshipping (sp?) hint (dawn calling Kenny handsome in the note) and I heard some amourshippers complain they "took out hints" from the dub (like when Serena & Bonnie got kidnapped from TRio ash appeartly yelled out Serena's name pacifically & referred to the rest traveling with him as his friends or something, while I think in the dub he just refers to all as his friends... Imo I don't really see why it was such a big deal).
Though yea from what I heard 4kidz made pokeshipping hints by:
-the "we'll get married someday, too!" Line from misty (though she most likely meant in general not to each other).
-the 2000 movie from what I heard is completely different from the original, but I'm not quite sure how as that's what I heard.
- misty's song

This is why I hate dubs, too many pokeshippers involved in their staff and they sound atrocious. They should admit that pokeshipping is dead and will stay dead. I will admit that amourshipping is somewhat good in that it literally neutered pokeshipping, advanceshipping and negaishipping, leaving pearlshipping at the top. It remains to be seen what will happen next. Then again, I dislike dubbed and prefer original voices for almost all media.
