I should have suspected that from the third season. In almost every movie: oh, Ash dies then comes back to life and all is happy and better. No more tears...blah blah blah. They have done a really good job in making him some sort of gifted child who wants to be a Pokémon Master and catch 'em all while being immortal O.o
