Journeys Ending?

Personally, I think Ash might lose to Leon, but it would be a close-cut thing (similar to Ash v Alain, in more ways than one, actually). While I had said earlier that Goh would replace Ash after Ash beats Leon, the Project Mew arc has changed my mind. I think it's possible the writers intended Goh to replace Ash, but seeing the backlash against him made them wrap up the Mew arc more quickly than planned; if Ash loses they can keep Ash nest season if Goh proves too unpopular. It would explain some of Journeys' rushed vibe if they were changing plans on the fly.

As for Dawn, I believe there is one more Dawn return guaranteed in Journeys, right? She appeared in the Journeys S3 trailer/opening whatever, so she's gonna be back. Please correct me if I'm misremembering, I am going off what JohtoFesta said in a thread in March. I vaguely recall her fishing with Ash and Goh, which is unaccounted for until now, so she has to return again. The fishing suggests to me it's going to be a rest period when she returns. This might be before the first match, before the Leon match, or after the Masters 8 is over. We can only hope she returns during the actual battle (cheerleader costume go!)
