The evil togepi was brilliant. It took me by surprise. I loved Team Rocket in the anime, I don't watch the anime as much as I used to though.

I grew up with the original and when I rewatched the series again I felt like I was a little kid once again!!! Also it brought back the memory of a game with Pokémon that I used to play with my brother!!! We had some small plastic pokebals with a Pokémon inside!!! Mine was a Evee!!! God I loved that game I wished every day I could have a Evee and a Charmander!!! I was in love with those two!!! What a shame that I grew up and I forgot all about this!!!!

The original series is what I started with and holds a dear place in my heart. It's not as exciting as DP, but overall it has a lot of character, has the best humor in the series overall, and is just fun and memorable.

Yeah, XYZ excelled in that department for sure! The ending let me down hard, but up until then I was loving it.

XY/XYZ had something different than the other generations and that was mega evolution...sun and moon has Z-moves....it's something different...and these are making the battles more cool!!

Mega-evolutions and Ash-greninja made things interesting, anyway. Still hoping for Z-moves to go somewhere.

I didn't really grow up with Pokémon like a lot of people did. I got into the stuff around the end of my 'childhood' years (aka 11-12).
I do get strangely nostalgic/fascinated by kanto/classic/pokemo craze type stuff, though (and feel like getting into watching the old eps again too). There's plenty i don't really care for about kanto (like pokeshipping, for one), but i duno...the whole craze and how intense and scary it could get, it feels a little trippy to me xD; I'm glad i wasn't a part of it in general (in general during the craze Pokémon actually scared me lol). Having not been there i guess makes it more intersting and safe to just 'look back' and humor it all.
I am so weird xD;
