I see what you mean. While it seemed like Misty could’ve had a crush on ash, ash was always more focused on other things than her & the same thing with May. Dawn they always seemed to work together for anything weather it was ash’s training or dawn’s training. Both of them cared about each other’s feelings, while ash rarely cared for Misty’s. & I’ve grown to like misty a bit, but both ash & misty where very abusive to each other (not so much anymore, but still). Sense they rarely saw eye to eye with each other & both didn’t do much to support one another, I can’t see them imho being a healthy couple. On the other hand, while ash & Dawn did fight & over stupid things they both realized what’s important & apologies to each other. & when ones sad, the other does what they can to cheer the other up (ash got dawn ice cream, dawn put on a play for ash). So yea while ash on dawn didn’t have cruses in each other, they both displayed the heathyist relationship!
