Hypothetically speaking, if the Pokémon creators decide to continue Ash's journey infinitely to milk even more out of the cash cow, Pearlshipping aside, what would you like to see in the next Pokegirl?
Firstly I want to see next to no infatuation with Ash, and I actually want to see a Pokegirl who doesn't lean as much to the "performing" aspect to things. There's nothing wrong with performance, it's just that we've seen it a lot. And I know Misty and Iris didn't do that stuff but there wasn't that much screentime of them doing their Water/dragon master thing. I want them to be super badass, and perhaps more competent than Ash- but actually contributing to his battle style as well. And less "kawaii" but not arguing with Ash for the sake of it like Misty. Also maybe deviating from the traditional nicey nicey image while not being a horrible person might be interesting.
Obviously I don't want them to drag it out forever (I'd rather they dragged it out than have him end up with Serena tho), so what do you think HYPOTHETICALLY?

Not another sideline character that's what I want.
hmmm... A troublemaker; similarly to May, doesn't like Pokémon. Someone who's beliefs in Pokémon treatment are different to Ash (not like Paul though), enough for arguments and battles but she can still get along with Ash and will travel with him. Has a troubled childhood (maybe slightly more scarring than Dee Dee). Has a breakdown in the middle of the series (not like that BS that Serena went through). Perhaps a mixture of Dawn's depression arc (but longer) and that breakdown. After that she changes and becomes nicer.

Well, let's see. They did try to give us a girl rival, except Casey didn't appear as often or in Bianca's case grew as strong as we wished for her to be. I would have liked to see how well it would have gone if Georgia was Ash's main rival instead of Iris's.
As far as companions go, Misty, May, Iris, Serena and Bonnie (she is 1 of the female supporters after all) have done the support team, only 1 of them done a lot more compared to the others so far (Serena still pending), while Dawn pretty much gave us the battler and partner category.
... I don't know. I'm still pondering about this for the next generation. Though 1 of my wishes is a girl to simply be Ash's rival. Done right.

A seriously don't want another pokegirl. I want something different for a change. Break the formula, go with two boys or even an older female and younger boy.
But if we have to get one, i want someone who's more competitive, less girly and more tomboyish and not to crush on the main character DX

Definitely no crush on ash, nor another person from ash's past.
What would be interesting is instead of her having an younger sibling, she'd have an older sibling who be ash's rival. It'd be nice to have a tomboy, or having both tomboyish & girly traits, but not one whose rude, bossy, or mostly criticizes ash all the time or think she's all that. Be interesting for her to have loving adoptive parents, so she can be relatable in a different way. It'd be great if focus was spread somehow between her and ash like it was for dawn. I really wouldn't mind if she was a coordinator. We see a THE EXACT SAME GYM BATTLES every season. Contest couldn't be that stale, and from hoenn to Sinnoh's it got more interesting imo. I don't see how people where bored with them aleady. __________ queen or whatever is imo just a bland, sexist ripoff of coordinators, so heck no I don't want that back... anyways, i'd like her to be an experienced coordinator, since the other two we seen them from beginners, and I think it'd be a good change for ash and I think could be something to get her and ash to start traveling together and help them get better in their goals.
Though really, they should have ash retire and end the series without serena with him, or have a new main character to take his spot.

If they've GOT to have another poke girl, I'll ask for one who VISIBLY has a crush on someone except Ash. She should be kinda stubborn and tomboyish but although.....secretly....I want Dawn to come back in the next region, along with May and Drew!

Actually I'm taking back some of what I said earlier
If we're going off a new girl, I'd like a less girly girl companion. I want to see a girl that is less into sparkly combos aND more into hard core battling like iris and misty. Actually a girl going for the battle frontier would be cool. Maybe a girl that wants to be a gymleader as opposed to misty that already was one and iris that became one out of circumstancial luck. I would love to see a Pokegirl hold her own in battle against ash and actually pose a threat to him in battle.
(I mean at the rate iris is going, it's implied that she's become significantly stronger, as she's strong enough to take control of the hardest gym in unova, so iris is probably the companion closest to being on ash's level,but her character is so scattered that it doesn't really seem likely)

Actually.. What I want to see is Ash rival / traveling companion... Were they aim for the League together and face of one of the rounds... it seems interesting this way... with a dash of hints here and there(rare hints for me are more special... where they just act innocently but you can see their chemistry or the interaction sweet for that matter...) maybe a bit tomboyish while being girly appearance and personality wise... but not as bad as Misty during her angry/comedic moment (I just don't like overeaction/violence).

as long as it's not an Iris 2.0 i'm fine with it. i would even be fine with it if it's not a girl at all but a being of pure light and energy from the Nth dimension where all mater is nothing but energy and light.
