Honestly, if you want to show your love for a ship through fanart, make an original one. All copying does is show that you really don't care since you're not putting your heart into the drawing. It's a disgrace really. I'm not saying this as a pearlshipper, I'm saying this as someone who loves to draw. I'm not good at it. In fact, I think I'm pretty bad, but at least I try and make a good, original drawing. You should never copy someone else's drawing or concepts. Actually I think both are copies of the true original concept; the Pixiv comments say the concept was on the cover of something in Japan. But I'm not sure. That is true, but I was looking more into the individual pictures of the whole thing. Unless both used identical pics from the original, then there's nothing I can say. i'll let it slide. If this was a art contest then it would matter to me but, it's not so no real harm done. Unlike the last contest I saw. Trust me, the level of art theft was crazy. |

Tue Amourshipper is likely to have came up with it after seeing the Pearl one though. The quality of the Pearl one is a lot better as well.

Even if the Amour version was the first one, I would still prefer the Pearl one. I believe the quality is far superior and it also looks more fitting and that's what truly matters in the end. In fact, it's one of my favorites.

Be it writing or drawing, what comes from a person is a part of their very being. It is a shard of who they are and copying it cheaps not only the orginal but the artist as well. |

I actually saw this fanart concept being used for other non-Pokémon shippings, so it can be based off a japanese cover or something of that sort. The Pearlshipping version is the best one I saw though.

*crawls out* Why is there a peace sign there? It's not coming from either one of them and it's just weird looking and unnatural as a whole! Ugh! *crawls back to the bathroom*

If the pearlshipping version is a copy as well, then that's fine. I still love it. At least it was drawn well and gives a cheery vibe that fits well with Ash and Dawn's personalities and relationship. That two colored, disturbing thing you call the amourshipping version on the other hand i- NOT AGAIN!!! *charges back to the bathroom*

In the Amourshipping version, Ash's eyes looked glazed in three of the pictures and I can't help but think that hes looks high. Does anyone else agree or is it just me?
*The ones I'm referring to are the top right corner, the one with the peace sign and the one to the right of that.
