Hi, everyone. I´m glad to see that pearlshipping is still alive and pearlshippers active. If there is a pokémon ship that deserves to survive all the troubles and stand the test of time, than it is pearlshipping. And you guys here do great job keeping it alive.
So nice to meet you,
Jo6ka.

Thanks for responses, guys. You know, mew151, I intended to introduce myself and my relation to pearlshipping at greater length at first. But because I´m not english speaking man and although I read in english a lot and have a not half bad passive knowledge of this language, i don´t really use it actively that much. You know, creating a post is quite a hard work for me. But i will give it a try. Hope it will be comprehensible. When I watched first seasons of Pokémon (in our country, they stopped the pragram in the middle of Johto then), I´ve never thought of any kind of shipping (and I really hated Ash´s Pikachu than). After a 4 year long pause, I found a Pokémon tv on Pokémon.com and started watching a show once again. By a coincidence the sinnoh channel was just started from a very first episode, so I chose Diamond and Pearl saga to watch first. And I liked Dawn from the very start. I remember, i was watching the episode where Hippopotas had a debut, when I fist thought that Dawn cares about Ash really much more than I expected (and vice versa). Even than i didn´t know what the word "shipping stand for. But after that episode I saw a Pokémon world in another light (I even started to love Ash´s Pikachu ). Don´t really know why i like it so much. Guess it was quite a coincidence - "good timing" of the anime, games and a season of the year. Anime because of the reason given above, games because that time i was starting to play platinum (which i´ve never complete until than), season of the year because it was autumn turning into winter than and I´m usually much more sensitive in this time of year. As a student of psychology, I reserve the right to say that unconscious mechanisms are responsible for me becoming and staying a pearlshipper. Honestly, I think diamond and pearl saga was the best (in the anime and i like the games also the most - not only because of 21 guns playing on route 209). By the way, today I was watching the "Riding the winds of change" episode and besides the fact that Ash´s Glifar is just fabulous, I noticed a very nice example of "sadness brow" (= the inner corners of eyebrows pulled up and together) on Dawn´s face in one moment (i guess it was when it seemed that there is no chance to help Gligars) - a character that show such beautiful facial expression of emotion must be, in my point of view, well developed as a protagonist of a show. Hope my post is at least a little understandable, because I am really not good in writing in english.

Hi, I'm also still new but welcome to the vault. Your story reminds me a bit of mine, only that I discovered it later and indirectly through High Touch. Have a great time!
Oh, and don't worry about your English. It's not my first language and I understood everything so far.

If there is a pokémon ship that deserves to survive all the troubles and stand the test of time, then it is pearlshipping. This line you said is very true, jo6ka. It really does deserve to stand the test of time. Glad you could join us! (Btw, your story make for a good DataCore testimony )
