They'll be released by 2016/2017, going by the remakes for Gen I, Gen II, and Gen III being ten years after the originals were released.

I'm kind of in the mood for another Gen 1 remake. It's the only one left out of the big changes.

Hmm, Gen 1 is THE greatest poke-game, no doubt. But I think that it's better if they stay the way they are .-. I mean, FireRed and LeafGreen were made.

It's the only game that wasn't granted the DS touch. Plus, they're stuck at the Normal/Special typing, while the rest now has the Physical/Special/other categorized for each technique available.

I'm not sure that's reason enough to warrant a second remake. It seems excessive to me.

True, but the first generation hasn't got much to offer anyways .-. I mean, the 2nd generation is...better when we take the plot like into consideration (though the 3rd, 4th and 5th have even better plot lines). There isn't much to do with the first generation. I'm not saying that I won't be excited or happy that the 1st gen have remakes but I would be jumping off the roofs if the 4th gen had one =3
