I just changed the board names to ship comparison just cause it's less aggressive. It's like 15 year old me (who first made the forum in what, 2013?) was super right wing for Pearlshipping or something. I mean I know I was. Like I really hated all the other Ash ships with a passion and most people online with me could probably tell. Nowadays tho, I mean, they all have their appealing points and their less appealing points. And I'm a lot more chill about it now, and as a forum tryna promote pearlshipping I should also project a more chill image on this forum. So let me know if you catch any outdated anti-other ship content on this forum that's still relevant, like maybe in the helpdesk threads and stuff, so I can fix it.
If you guys have any of the same type of thoughts and feelings or if ur part of the 2013-2016 gang or just wanna talk feel free to chat on this thread

I got into a quite heated argument with an Amourshipper in YouTube comments because I thought Pearlshipping was superior to all (I even hated Serena; Nowdays, I see Serena as a great character, just not my OTP Amour; I documented this on this forum somewhere but I can't find the option to remove threads). I hope no one takes offense to this, but looking back, this whole thing seemed like a very hardcore "for Pearlshipping", and I appreciate the more chill approach you are taking now (the hardcore approach could drive some people away) |

I know Misty before Dawn but i haven't like Poke or Amour. I have knew about Dawn since i see her in Black and White and I liked pearlshipping right from that moment.

I don't think I've ever been super "anti-ship I don't like," aside from those few characters within the Pokémon anime who are just bad characters overall and I still try to forget they exist.. But that's only like 1-2 so not too bad. Sure, some random fan art of another ship might pop up out of nowhere, but I tend to just quickly look away thinking, "Nope!" I've never gone into the comments and started harassing people like I've seen on images I do like. As far as comments and text posts about ships go however, this forum is really the first time I'm even engaging with it at all, besides the Gen 1-3 days where I felt like Pokeshipping was really the one and only ship around. Honestly just do not remember seeing anything else at time, not that I was looking for any others though.
Anyway, live and let live, I guess. Getting into arguments online is probably about as fun as it sounds.
