I recognize that it was a kiss but still I'm not convice that it was on the lips!!! He never said where she kissed him!!! He said that it should look like they kissing!!! The look with the is are very far away!!!
I respect your opinion and your choice to support amourshipping but I don't share your enthusiasm because their relationship was not as deep and grounded to be realistic such a move!!!! In my eyes it was a desperate move that the writer's made to convince the audience that the amourshipping was worth its time on screen!!! So I will stay on the bright side of force!!!

powerup eerrm you realize it's just a anime dude? It was off-screen...so anyone can make conclusions on what happened... Yajima didn't played in the episode...he wrote the episode...he didn't wrote that "Serena will come and kiss him and we will show it". What he wrote was "Serena will come back to Ash and we will show her legs floating". I don't care what you are now neither what you were...the fact that people, like you, tent to show that interview just really annoys me...you haven't learned yet that in anime you use your imagination in places where anime hasn't confirmed (or yet) and you use words from people that don't exist in anime...

chosenone151 I think you're taking the "he was her goal" quote a bit out of contrast. In Japan, the meaning behind it that Ash's goals are similar to her goals at their dreams. She admires his goals and so she sets something similar to that. I think there was a comment around here explaining it well. Whether it was here or on YouTube. Again, she was super shy and would get really startled that other people would poke fun of her crush. It's just way to much of a leap for her based on her personality. Admitting your feelings before hand would prove me wrong though. But this is something she didn't do.

That's the whole point of the scene; it was to show that she'd changed and developed, she'd become much bolder. Remember when she was too scared to hold his hand? Compare that to the XYZ46, where she grabbed his hand to drag him off without thinking about it. Serena developed a whole lot of confidence, and again, that's what the scene was trying to show.
It is true that she admires Ash's drive and wants to emulate that, but no, she straight up said "you are my goal." Ash. She also wants to become strong for herself, but that was a straight-up confession.
"You're my goal. Next time you see me, I'll be a more beautiful woman!"
Questionable line, but to me, that was "next time you see me, I'll blow you away!" in a teasing manner; she winked when she said it.
I think the whole thing was meant to show that Serena had grown into her own, and could say what she wanted, act on her feelings, and pursue her dreams, whether it's being Kalos Queen or Ash himself.

I think it was a good idea for the writers to make the kiss off-screen, that why people can be speculating.
But yeah, Serena's kiss to Ash was basically showing how much she has developed.

you said the kiss was on the cheek because the feet were positioned slightly on the left, but don't you notice Ash's feet were not parallel meaning his body was in a slight angle and would be an awkward way to be kissed on the cheek and notice the distance of the feet on which the left was slightly further than the right and Ash's view was straight looking at Serena and Serenas feet are almost tip toed and you would need to go that far just to kiss him on the cheek so meaning the kiss was actually on the lips and not in the cheek, and also Ash did not look away from Serena when she kissed him as we can see when Serena ascends and descends from the escalator, and not only will i prove this is a lip kiss through both of their point of views but also look at the reaction of Clemont, Bonnie, and Pikachu, it would be exaggeration if Ash gets kissed by Serena on the cheeks, as too see it is quite normal for a person to be kissed on the cheek either for Tradition or how you feel for that person but when they kiss on the lips, it quite normal to see a reaction from them with a Red face and shocked since its quite unexpected seeing that Clemont, Ash, Bonnie, and Serena have long been friends and particularly Jaw dropping to see both their friends in a romantic situation. And please would you see the reactions of the people in the past Seasons where Ash was kissed on the cheeks, everyone acted quite normal, except for misty who was quite jealous and Brock since hes the only guy who wouldn't even get a single compliment from girls so please pearlshippers, look at the perspective, the psychology, references, and point of views before you go jumping to conclusions that Ash was kissed on the cheeks just because the feet were slightly positioned. but i do appreciate your effort in this research pearlshippers, feel free to tell me how you feel because it tells me that im not a communist who will only accept positive comments and start killing off the rest.
(this has not yet been confirmed so please don't be mad but in my opinion what i stated is strongly advised to be believed but if you pearlshippers still believe that he was kissed on the cheeks go ahead, i wont stop you because i respect your opinions)
