I like to think that the ratio is 50:50. I think hetro ships tend to have an equal balance of the two while same sex ships seem to attract the opposite sex ships.

In Japan, the main Pearlshipping fan base are girls, often those who grew up watching the series. But there are also a lot of male fans which evens out to about 50:50.

It doesn`t matter if the most viewers are male or female! The important thing is that people still love Pearlshipping although have past a lot of years for the last time we saw Ash and Dawn together!!!!!
