It's been a while since I last updated, but here we go! We are on Indigo Plateau, ready to battle the Elite Four. It has been quite a crazy road, filled with its ups and downs. We have three major losses to account for.
The first was the most painful for me to endure. Vegeta the Nidorino sadly killed himself in Silph Co on the way to Giovanni. I had very high hopes for Vegeta as he was plowing through Silph Co prior to his death. He was to be rewarded with evolving into a Nidoking once we passed Silph Co, but the game had other ideas. Now I don't have one of my favorite Pokémon at my side. May he rest in peace
Against Giovanni, I lost my main weapon against his Kangaskhan. I obtained Hitmonlee from the Fighting Dojo and called him Hercule. And wouldn't you know it? His Kangaskhan used Comet Punch, which both got the critical and hit all five times. Just my luck. Taken out before he could even do one move. Guess I shouldn't have named him Hercule. RIP Hercule.
The final major loss came in the Power Plant against the beast Zapdos. I made the rule that I can catch Legendaries but only use them if I have no other choice. I sent out my Haunter Dabura against it to put it to sleep and slowly wear it down. The damn thing somehow woke up after I nearly caught it and proceeded to kill Dabura in one hit, something I didn't see coming. Dabura had really grown at me at this point, completely annihilating the Fighting Dojo and Silph Co. With his Ghost-Poison Typing alongside his Hypnosis, Dream Eater, Psychic, and Confuse Ray moveset, Dabura was a force to be reckoned with. He would have played major roles against Koga in Fushia City and against Bruno and Agatha of the Elite Four. Sadly, Zapdos decided to cut that possibility off. In the end Zapdos was taken down, but at the price of losing one of my star players at that point. RIP Dabura
But that has all been left in the past. The Elite Four stands before us, the final hurdle of this Nuzlocke, and I couldn't be more proud of my team.
My starter
Mutatio hasn't failed me once in this run, and as a Venusaur he completely dominated the Seafoam Islands and Victory Road. He will play the role of taking on Bruno's Onixes and my Rival's Rhydon.
Longtime member
GeneralTao has finally ascended into a Pidgeot, and boy is he a powerful one. He will play a major role in taking on Bruno's Fighting Pokémon and against my Rival's Exeggutor.
Another veteran of the team,
Tien has been instrumental in numerous major victories. He single handedly took down Lt. Surge and Koga, and was pivotal on making it through Victory Road. He will be the major weapon against Agatha and her team of Pokémon that a dual Poison Types, giving them a weakness to Tien's Dig and Earthquake.

Gohan the Jolteon hasn't had much of a chance to prove his worth. But his moveset, which includes Thunder and Pin Missile, along with his incredibly high Speed, makes him the perfect canidate to take on Lorelei, with his Electric attacks being perfect against all her Pokémon but Jynx, who will suffer the wrath of Pin Missile. Gohan will also take on Agatha's Golbat, which is immune to Tien's Ground moves, and Lance's Gyarados, which has a 4x weakness to Electric attacks, and my Rival's Pidgeot. Gohan looks to be the star player against the Elite Four.
The newest member of the team is the Arcanine
Goku, who also has yet to prove himself. He serves as backup against Jynx if something happens to Gohan and also might take on my Rival's Exeggutor in place of GeneralTao. He is the least experienced of the team but he holds a lot of promise.
The MVP of this Nuzlocke came to me as a surprise. I caught a Magikarp in Viridian and decided to leave it with the Daycare man for a while. I took the Magikarp back and grinded it until it evolved into the mighty Gyarados, and boy was I in for a treat.
Shenron the Gyarados is a powerhouse. He took out the Rocket's Hideout and Silph Co nearly by himself, and lead my team into many Gyms. He froze Erika's Grass Pokémon, plowed through Sabrina being ten levels lower than her Alakazam and somehow survivingit all, devoured the Psychic Types in Koga's Gym, and drowned eveything in Blaine's Gym. He also was the bane of Giovanni's nightmares, taking down his team without being touched in Silph Co and his Gym. Shenron will take on Lance's team after Gohan eliminates the Gyarados, and will take on my Rival's Charizard in the final battle.
This is my team, the Z Pokémon. Look out, Elite Four! You're next!
