I've been thinking lately how "Legends Arceus" might influence the current anime series.
First of all I think that Dawn will return to the anime for some episodes to promote the DP remakes, however it will not be her only appearance in Journeys I like to believe that in some of those episodes Ash and Dawn will have a battle (Typhlosion vs Lucario maybe) and Cynthia will be present watching the battle (as in BW) Goh and Chloe are impressed with how intense the battle is between Ash and Dawn, especially Goh who emphasizes how good Dawn is as a trainer, Cynthia mentions that the intensity of the battle It is due to how much Ash and Dawn know each other, and that the passage of time has only strengthened that bond more, however Cynthia also mentions that Ash and Dawn share a kind of "ancestral bond", that comment draws attention of Goh.
A few months later when the Arceus game is released, Dawn will return to the anime and together with Ash, Goh, Chloe and Cynthia they visit a museum in Sinnoh where they display a sculpture of two ancient heroes who saved the Sinnoh region with the help of Arceus many centuries ago but everyone was surprised to see the sculpture of those heroes are identical to Ash and Dawn, literally the ancient heroes are feudal versions of Ash and Dawn, it is then that Cynthia explains in more detail the history of these heroes and Arceus in one or two episodes and at the end Cynthia deduces that Ash and Dawn are the reincarnations of those heroes there is that they look so much alike but the arc does not end there since the Sinnoh region will be in danger again and now is Ash and Dawn's turn to save Sinnoh region again just as the original heroes did with the help of Arceus.
however I also like the idea that the plot of "Legends Arceus" could be carried over to the next year's movie where the protagonists would continue to be the feudal versions of Ash and Dawn.
