First of all, a disclaimer: Visual content from the "Knight Rider" belongs to "Universal". And this thread I dedicate to Yampa.
Here I will show you that there are some weird overlaps between our couple and Michael and Bonnie from the "Knight Rider".
The first overlap is mutual requesting and completing a gesture. As you know, Satoshi and Hikari asked each other for a high-five and made it.
Michael and Bonnie asked each other for walking arm-in-arm and did it.
It shows the mutual interest in both couples.

In the following scene we see that despite talking with another person, either Satoshi and Michael focused their attention on Hikari and Bonnie, respectively. Hikari and Bonnie also had the same pattern of maintaining an eye contact while Satoshi and Michael were leaving.

Hikari teased Satoshi at their reunion. And Michael teased Bonnie at their reunion as well. The scenes had the same energy.

The scene from the Futaba Festival where Satoshi and Hikari were eating behind Takeshi and Ayako completely overlaps another scene with Michael and Bonnie where they were eating behind their boss and the circus hostess in the "Circus Knights". The vibes from Michael and Bonnie's playing at the same scene are similar to Satoshi and Hikari's playing in the "Arceus And The Jewel Of Life".

And the last overlap I noticed was in the scene where Satoshi and Hikari dealt with this young boy's issue. You can see that in both cases the youngsters were emotional with Satoshi and Michael, while Hikari and Bonnie negotiated with them in a caring manner.

Besides, the Michael and Bonnie couple was never canon, however there were very strong implications that they had a romantic relationship. In other words, their romance was as subtle.
