What is your Favorite Pearlshipping Moment?

I'm gonna bite here too. I'm trying to stay clear from too many things that'll jog my memory because I'm still trying to catch up in episodes after starting back up from episode 1. Otherwise I'd have posted all over the place by now.

I don't remember the Giratina movie too well other than that poster of Pikachu and Piplup with their heads together on top of Ash and Dawn's heads. (While I'm mentioning that, there's this nice fanart of a zoomed out version.) And Shaymin getting on Ash's nerves. Can't wait to watch it again! The movies are always fun. I definitely remember Counter Shield though, because it seemed so overpowered. The breakdance spinning to pull it off was cool too.

Since the last time I watched any DP episodes was just over 10 years ago (I haven't even heard Dawn's voice in this time) it's a bit tough to remember much. I vaguely remember Ash consoling Dawn after she loses a contest and she's eating ice cream? Then something happens off screen and they go running to check. For a few frames of animation you can see Dawn eating the rest of her ice cream in one bite and getting a brain freeze... OK, maybe I remember some weird small details. As a side note; early into the Jirachi movie, May scarfs down her ice cream in one bite and doesn't get a brain freeze. Does she not have a brain TO freeze? ...I'm joking, May's fine.

Anyway, Ash and Dawn developed combination attacks together which was nice. I'll never forget "Ice Aqua Jet" considering this is the same generation where Ice Shard was first introduced. Combo attacks actually became a thing in the games in the very next generation, with Water/Fire/Grass Pledge. I wonder, are times Ash and Dawn fight each other counted as Pearlshipping moments? I guess it really depends on the situation. Also being a Pokeshipper; I know the fighting there is a big part of it, as well as the constant jabs at each other. As it likely is with any ship containing tsundere characters. All couples fight blah blah blah. I bring this up because I happened to take a screenshot 10 years ago of Dawn yelling at Ash. I don't know exactly what episode this is nor what is even being said. I'm not sure if this was a one second thing or if this would even count at all. Why did I even take this screenshot? Was it just funny to me? I want to say there's a camera crew just off screen here, or I'm thinking of another episode. Possibly from another episode again, there's a scene where Dawn is stretching Ash's mouth. I remember that specifically because Misty also does that to Ash. So yeah, fighting!

I'm sure I'll have more to say when I finally reach Diamond and Pearl again in the anime. Ten years ago I only watched up to DP136, so I'm really happy I still have more shipping to see.
