Hello. Let me start by saying I first found this place in 2014-2015. Short version of why I did not join up back then: I was not caught up with the anime (and still not) and I'd rather not get spoiled on anything. Pokémon is special to me (both anime and games), so I take care not to look at anything until I get to it myself. Basically live under a rock whenever a new game is revealed. More recently, to the point where I knew there was something announced about Sword/Shield that had everyone raging, but I had no idea what it even was until AFTER I completed the game and looked it up.
Anyway, I am a Pearlshipper, Pokeshipper... Oystershipper. But by far, the number one for me is whatever the ship is called when you combine those three. Yeah. I'm not too familiar with all the ship names myself, but Pikachu/Buneary was pretty cute.

And a very--VERY short version of where I'm at with the anime: Ten years ago, I got up to DP136. I was catching up to the latest dub episode (at the time) way too fast, and didn't want to have to wait an entire week or more just for one episode, so I decided to completely stop and just grab everything as it came along for later. Now I've started up again from episode 1, and currently I'm paused at EP106 (bulbapedia numbering). The next thing to watch before moving on is the second movie. Pretty hyped to watch all this, especially Johto, Sinnoh and beyond. If there's one big thing that changed about me over these ten years, its the absolute hatred for Gen 1. They keep pushing it so hard. I grew up with it, and they've killed any ounce of nostalgia I had. I'm so glad I'm past that in the anime...
Once I'm actually caught up, I'll take a proper look around this place. That Pokeshipping vs Pearlshipping board seems the most amusing. For now, I have a few things I wanted to share-- I'll go do that.
