Off-screen subtle promotions of Pearl+Amour

I feel that the show is going to ship Sophocoles with Lana and Kiawe with Mallow. Lillie, I don't know, she could end up being an UB so it's like shipping Ash with Meloetta, Latias or Bayleef.

Because there isn't a badge quest + league anymore and how new system games are coming at least next year, Alola would likely be a small footnote. So they don't have to end up drawing out three years worth of filler. I'd give it around 1-2 years, since they would likely have to flesh out the lore of Alola series. The 3DS again is a dying system, and the new system games would likely boost sales so Nintendo/Game Freak isn't going to do the same thing as they've done before over and over. There's also the possibility of the storyline eventually completely rebooting. That's why they pander to Gen 1 because they would eventually release a Kanto game in 3D. But a Sinnoh game would be released first because of how the symbol for Sun and Moon is Platinum, and they have been Sinnoh references so many times as of late. So after Alola, would come Sinnoh, then after it probably a Kanto (and maybe including Johto) remakes in 3D. So far, until SM gets released, we have yet to see allusions to another region, if there is one at all. So it can't be certain that they're sticking to the formula 100%. Within the first six months of the NX release, Pokémon will get another mainline game to capitalize into the situation. This isn't a spinoff as Game Freak doesn't make spinoff games. So Sun&Moon isn't going to last very long, I believe. Maybe around 50 episodes. Or they continue it on to another series, but who knows. Tsunekazu Ishihara said that they want to shake things up every generation and they don't want to be seen as predictable. Which is why there isn't a Pokémon Grey but B2W2, why there isn't a Pokémon Z (maybe that's why we're getting Sun + Moon in its place because of Zygarde and Z-moves).

Their excuse was "it's not the 20th anniversary yet" from what I've heard.

However I  literally lost all hope for Ash ever winning a league the moment Tobias pulled a Latios out of his ass pokeball, but what happened in Unova was simply unforgivable, a semi-professional trainer who had gone trough not one, not two, not three, but FOUR regions lost to a kid that didn't even have six Pokémon ARGHH just writing about it infurates me.
