Thoughts? Theories? I'm curious on your opinions on the new upcoming movie.
Gonna be honest, I really dislike the dubbed Hoopa voice.
Given the trailers and overall feel, I have a feeling it'll be good, but then again, the last good Pokémon movie--in my opinion and no offense--was the 14th with Vicitini. Really hoping some of those legends remember Ash--looking at you Giratina--and that this film brings back the few things the anime was rarely criticized for as far as I can tell; good/great movies.

I really dislike the dub Hoopa voice as well. There are so many legendaries, but the one I'm most excited for is Arceus. I could not believe my ears when I heard about the details of this movie; the many legendaries made for quite the lineup. But Arceus? A problem so massive that the God of Pokémon Himself has to intervene in the middle of Ash's Kalos journey just to stop it? Now THAT'S impressive. To be honest, I don't know Arceus's role or what He'll do, but I sure hope it's going to be Hoopa vs. Arceus. It's even more intriguing that the other legendaries are shown but Arceus has not appeared in any of the released trailers. The only reason we even know Arceus will be in the movie is because of the movie poster. I'm also crossing my fingers that it's the same Arceus from the Jewel of Life movie and that they make a reference to it. But anyway, those are my thoughts EpsilonAI80. I skipped M17, but I might actually watch the new Pokémon movie this time.

Sorry to say, but this seems like some of XY's ridiculous fan service once again. The amount of legendaries seem a bit excessive (I mean, almost if not all legendaries are making an appearance), the only part I'm hyped for is Mega Rayquaza and Hoopa Unbound if it shows up.

I haven't watched a Pokémon movie since Arceus and the Jewel of Life. I should probably watch the latest ones. My interest has peaked for this one. (Sorta)
I've heard more annoying dubbed voices than Hoopa's and that is such an overkill of legendary Pokémon!

No you don't have to say sorry. Fan service is what gen 6 is all about. And if gen 6 has any flaws at all, then it's the fan service. Of course, the fan service has also made gen 6 great in ways, but too much fanservice also has it's downsides. For example, no one even talks about the 12 mega Pokémon in M17 anymore. And not everyone (us) likes the Serena/Amour fan service, it's impossible to please everyone. I agree with you.

There's no need to be sorry knightofbalance, since your opinion realistically makes sense, and of course, as it is the anime,--at least since BW--there is a somewhat, if not really high chance of this movie being a dud. But yeah, with 10--excluding Hoopa and Arceus--legends in it, already more than twice than any other film in Pokémon history--correct me if I'm wrong--IS a bit, if not too much, and I've only seen fanfiction get this far normally(which many aren't finished or abandoned to my dismay) and in a way, just this film concept is fan service, since isn't it fan service to do something that fans already did/created on their own? Again, there's no need to be sorry, and besides, I'm saving my real hype train for the next Pokémon game. PlatinumSun I think either--or both, your choice--M13 or 14 for the latest, as honestly, M15, 16 & 17 are at best average. Would I recommend those 3? Not really. I know for sure of 15 & 16, but 17 I haven't seen personally, with 17's experience based off my friend watching on CN. As for the dubbed voice, I have to agree that there are worse dubbed voices then Hoopas. Not to be rude or anything, NovaStorm, but you just sounded like TyranitarTube--quite fitting with the video you linked--but yeah, the main interest I have in the film so far is Arceus's role, and it also better be the one from M12, or at least connected to it. It's confirmed that Hoopa summons The Lati twins, a Lugia--doubtful that's the one from M2 due to multiple Lugias in the anime--and a nice Shiny Mega Rayquaza vs the other six, excluding Arceus. Given the info, it might just be Hoopa vs Arceus, at least after Hoopa's Unbound form is unleashed, but a scene at the end of one of the trailers perplexes me, as it showed Hoopa transforming into Unbound, and throwing more rings, but without the dark shadowy aura. I might actually watch this film too, but I will admit the main reason I didn't watch M17 was because I was lazy to.

If you say so, and I must admit, I'm not sure I could all of BW again, and some I never even saw in the initial run due to time constraints, and my level of laziness in watching Pokémon still exists unfortunately. Also is that how a quote works? Not used to those yet.

The magic of quotes!
