Though I don't particularly care for the ship, I find it funny how Negaishipping is already "out of the equation". Guess it means that Ash and Dawn indirectly inspired Iris and Cilan to be closer to each other.

Naturally. Negaishipping isn't really a threat to Pearlshipping at all. But I hope I didn't jinx it by saying that.

Honestly, I thought that Hilda would accompany Ash. I wasn't expecting Iris. No offense to Negaishippers, but even my brother laughed at her design and personality. And he's only eight. I don't even think Iris is going to have a cameo. Pearlshipping has a lot more of a chance of happening than Negaishipping.

Many people are predicting the obligatory return, but I don't think enough people like her enough for it. The special may be used in the cameo's place, leaving room for Dawn who's right behind Iris when it comes to time.

True, they don't synchronize as much as Ash and Dawn do...

Maybe the directors were hoping that everyone would not focus on the shipping and acutally watch the show. That's why I think Iris was chosen because I think we all agree that they are not much of a Perfect couple.
IRSH! That sounds worse o.o

I never understood Ash and Iris's banter at the beginning of BW episode 3. What exactly was it that they're fighting about?

it doesn't really matter but there is a special episode of Iris fighting against Clair and seeing Rayquaza.
