I know this sounds Crazy and i'm just new here in this Vault, But my question is, if Serena meets Dawn, will they be friendly to each other, or be hostile for some reason,(shipping war Particularly) What do you guys think? Yet again i know it sounds Crazy or Weird but what do you guys think?

It depends, if we assume Dawn shows romantic interest in Ash, then probably not due to Serena's obvious crush

I think if even one of them gets jealous, then it's all over. Take Ash out of the equation and Dawn and Serena would be great friends.
Jealousy isn't a Dawn thing, but you never know. Taking Ash out for Dawn and Serena's friendship is mainly for Serena. If Serena knows that Dawn was previous traveling partner of Ash and sees their relationship, then it is very likely Ash will be on her mind whenever talking to Dawn.
Now Ash being on her mind would be a hindrance, but it wouldn't completely stop them having a friendship. They would definitely be able to relate.

I don't think Dawn would get jealous, because of course, she's not really the kind of girl that gets jealous easily, but Serena? She gets jealous of any girl that TALKS to Ash, so if she doesn't get jealous of pearlshipping - highly doubtful - then they could be great friends.

It's possible, but once she sees their high five she's bound to be jealous. maybe not the high five but definitely if Serena saw the two laughing or smiling together  Jealously level: OVER 9000!! You know how some amourshippers say "one sided canon is better?" I can't help but wonder if Serena could stop "liking" Ash. Considering that they changed her appearance and are now making her focus on her goal instead of blushing from Ash, I think its a possibility that along the way, Serena might like someone else or decides to go after her goal instead of going after a boy who may or not like her back. Maybe something could happen right at the end of the series to change her feelings.

Ash's role in Serena's life can be a simply being a very inspiring motivation, not a future husband (as much as she might want it to be). It maybe hard at first, but a Serena by herself would always look back to her experiences with Ash and remember to not give up until it's over and other important encouragements. Serena's canon feelings? The show would justify it as an emphasis of how awe-inspiring Ash is to Serena's goals and journey. Serena is the one who has been the most especially affected by Ash? Serena is just one of many that have been boosted by Ash. If Clemont was a girl, he'd probably have a crush on Ash. We can see Clemont admiring Ash's confidence just as much as Serena would. Serena's adoration is no different than Clemont's admiration, the only difference being Serena is a girl so romantic feelings are involved (and of course 'history' is a difference). While some see Ash/Serena and a hole that can't be escaped, Serena moving on while still keeping her adoration for Ash as she strives for her future goals is still in the realm of possibility. It's hard for me to see Serena stop liking Ash, but it's not hard to see Serena eventually getting over him should she be forced to move on. |
