So Dunsparce was an attempt of recreating Arceus like Type:Null? Well the difference is that Type:Null is made from multiple different body parts. Dunsparce are the results of when Arceus tries to reproduce his genes in a way that prevents them from reaching their monstrous true potential. ...how???!? Tbh I've never given dunsparce ANY importance (not even in the games) but if you're telling me that this Pokémon here has something to do with Arcues, imma gonna respect it.

If Ash wanted to catch one not once but twice, it means something.

Not sure if I like Drampa or not but I do wish he does have an evolution. At least allow him to be bulky with an eviolite!

Dawn's Buneary is not what anyone thinks it is. It's a representation of Dawn's repressed romantic feelings for Ash. In other words, Buneary is the Pokémon polar opposite of Dawn. That means her Buneary acts very similar to Serena, because rabbits are a symbol of the moon and Serena's name is a reference to the moon. It's also a coincidence that the Japanese name of Sailor Moon is Tsukino Usagi, a pun on Tsuki no Usagi, literally meaning 'Moon Rabbit' and her English localized names are 'Serena' and 'Serenity', names based on the moon goddess 'Selene'. Three names which happened to be considered for the SM female protagonist. So the staff partially based Buneary and Serena on Sailor Moon as a loose inspiration of sorts. Dawn could have caught any Buneary but she happened to catch this one. Buneary's crush on Pikachu is parallel to Serena's crush on Ash. That's also why Pikachu and Buneary hardly fight like Ash and Serena. If Ash rejected Serena at the start of their Kalos journey or yelled at her to leave him alone (before her haircut), she would have cried like Buneary did when Pikachu scolded angrily at Buneary in DP9. I really hope they don't give Dawn's Buneary to Serena, that would enrage quite a lot of fans.
